With that, we come to an end to this exciting Spice Isle T10 match between Nutmeg Warriors & Cinnamon Pacers. Also, the inaugural edition of the league has come to an end and with that, we take your leave as that is all we have from the coverage of the Spice Isle T10 2021 final. Bye!
Nutmeg Warriors won by 19 runs.

Being asked to bat first,  Andre Fletcher and Seandell Regis came out to bat for the Nutmeg Warriors. Seandell Regis, Nutmeg Warriors' most consistent batsman in the inaugural edition of the Spice Isle T10 league was the first player to lose his wicket. He failed to read Reuel Williams's delivery and chopped on the ball onto his stumps. Soon, Akeem Alexis was stumped. He attempted a wide shot and tried to play it for a big shot but failed to get back to his cease in time. The keeper did no mistake and didn't waste any time in taking the bails off. Donald McDonald joined Andre Fletcher in the middle and they both took the Warriors to a massive total of 143 runs from their 10 overs. Fletcher remained unbeaten during his 65 runs knock off 35 balls that included 5 fours and as many sixes. He notched up his half-century from 32 balls. Donald McDonald, on the other hand, scored 49 runs from 19 balls that included 3 fours and 5 sixes at a strike rate of 257. They both together played a crucial role in getting the Warriors to 143 runs for the loss of just three wickets.

In reply, Alick Athanaze and Heron Campbell opened the innings for the Pacers. Alick was dismissed off Akeem Alexis's bowling in the final ball of the third over. Alick played one high up in the air and the player in the deep came in all the way and grabbed a running catch to dismiss the first player. He had a slow innings scoring nine runs from nine balls in this run chase. Micah Narine was the new batsman in for the Pacers. He scored 30 runs from 20 balls, including a couple of boundaries and as many sixes during his innings. Alongside him was opening batsman Heron Campbell, who amassed 78 runs from just 34 balls at a strike rate of 229.00. He belted 9 fours and 5 sixes during his knock but unfortunately couldn't guide their side past the victory line. They managed to get only 124 runs for the loss of one wicket and finally fell short by 19 runs. Warriors' bowler Akeem Alexis was the lone wicket-taker in the second innings of the Spice Isle T10 2021 final.

9.6 Andre Fletcher to Heron Campbell, SIX MORE! The havoc has come a bit too late from Campbell sadly, as his team has lost but what a hit this was. Full in the slot yet again, tossed up delivery. Campbell wats for it and smokes this one out of the park. Long way over the man at wide long on who could do nothing!

An expensive over, but it does not matter for Fletcher and co as they win the game by 19 runs, but more importantly Nutmeg Warriors are CHAMPIONS of the Spice Isle T10 2021!
9.5 Andre Fletcher to Heron Campbell, SIX! Overpitched delivery from Fletcher in the slot for Campbell, who goes down on one knee and shoots this one like a rocket straight over the bowler and over long off for a maximum.
9.4 Andre Fletcher to Heron Campbell, FOUR! Good length delivery on the middle stump, hammered towards long on who is a bit too wide and his dive is no good to stop this one.
9.3 Andre Fletcher to Heron Campbell, SIX! Full and wide outside off stump. Width on offer for Campbell as he frees his arms and lofts this as easy as they come. Clears the ropes over wide long off.
9.2 Andre Fletcher to Micah Narine, tossed up delivery on the off tump, put away towards extra cover for merely a single.
9.1 Andre Fletcher to Micah Narine, full length delivery, outside off stump. Narine leaves it assuming it's a wide. Umpire nods his head and says it's a legal ball.
Heron Campbell gets a consolation half-century today. He'll be happy after having added another fifty to his name, but will be upset as he couldn't get his side past the victory line in the most important fixture of the season. 43 required off 6!

8.6 Darel Cyrus to Heron Campbell, FOUR! Campbell comes down the track early and thrashes this one straight past the bowler for a boundary. Poor delivery to end with.
8.5 Darel Cyrus to Heron Campbell, almost a perfect yorker. Just a bit short from a yorker length but Cambell handsomely drives this to long on for a quick couple of runs.
8.4 Darel Cyrus to Micah Narine, fullish delivery, on off stump, pumped away towards covers for a single.
8.3 Darel Cyrus to Micah Narine, SIX! Overpitched from Cyrus. Gives a tossed up delivery served up to Narine who launches this one way over the ropes at wide long on.
8.2 Darel Cyrus to Heron Campbell, FIFTY FOR THE OPENER! Full length delivery on in the blockhole drilled towards deep mid wicket for a single as Campbell brings up his fifty.
8.1 Darel Cyrus to Micah Narine, quicker delivery, good and straight on off stump. Narine smacks it away to wide long on for a single.
It's all over for the Cinnamon Pacers as they require 58 runs from 12 balls, with the required run rate being 29 runs per over. They are close to nowhere in chasing down the target and will take home the silver medal.

7.6 Haston Jackson to Heron Campbell, SIX! Full pitched delivery on the pads, angling down the leg. Campbell shuffles away from the stumps and flicks this graciously over deep square leg fielder and the ropes to pick up a maximum.
