It was a complete team effort from the Clove Challengers. Although they didn't start well with the ball, they did cover up the things a bit in the end. Batting revolved around Darron Nedd, and everyone played their part. That's all we've got for you from this match as I, Suraj Jajoo, and my co-commentator, Karthik Raj, take your leave. Stay tuned for more live-action coming your way on Sportskeeda. Till then, please take care and stay safe!
Teddy Bishop seemed a sweet timer of the ball who doesn't like to smack the ball, instead, he loves to time it perfectly. His elevated cover drive for six was one of the best shots in the innings and he must be pleased after playing that. He scored a tidy 22 runs off 14 balls and did release some pressure off Nedd's shoulders. Both of them made sure that the required run-rate doesn't surpass a certain limit. Talking about the bowling effort, Andre Fletcher, yet again, proved to be the rescuer for the Warriors. Later, Darel Cyrus got the better of Teddy Bishop and it seemed like the Warriors might come back in the game. But, Imran Joseph did have some other plans in his mind as he smashed a six on his first ball itself.
119 was never going to be easy for the Challengers and they came up with a sound approach in this innings. Darron Nedd was given the opportunity to open the batting and he grabbed it with both hands, scoring 51 runs off 31 balls inclusive of 5 huge sixes and 3 fours. Interestingly, it wasn't him who started the fireworks for them. Denroy Charles got up to a flying start scoring 2 sixes and a four off Darel Cyrus in the second over and that's where the platform got staged. Although they lost him as Andre Fletcher showcased his talent one more time, Nedd kept his composure and kept the required run-rate in check.
Well, it was in fact a very good over from Joseph as he restricted the batsmen to go big, taking it to the very last ball to decide the winner. The Clove Challengers won by 8 wickets!

Despite getting hit for that fantastic pull shot, Thomas did target that outside the off-stump channel and he did beat Nedd off the pace as well. Two boundaries off the last 2 balls made it 15 runs coming off the over. The Challengers need 7 runs from the last over.
