12:34 (IST)22 NOV 2018

After registering an easy win against Pakhtoons, defending T10 league champions Kerala Knights will take on Sindhis in their second match of the tournament.

Opening batsman Paul Stirling got Knights off to a great start in a chase of 110 and he completely overshadowed Chris Gayle, something that cannot be said often, in his knock of 40 off just 14 balls. He shared a crucial 50-run stand for the second wicket with skipper Eoin Morgan off just 18 balls and by the time he got out with the scorecard reading 90/2, the match was already sealed for the Knights. Morgan ensured that there were no further hiccups and took his team home with ease. But, the real hero for the Knights was Nepal spinner Sandeep Lamichhane, who restricted the opposition for just nine overs with a fine spell of 3/17 in his two overs.

Knights will hope that their star players turn up yet again and help them win their second match on the trot.

Knight's opposition, Sindhis, on the other hand, found themselves on the receiving end of a brutal assault from the hands of Afghanistan batsman Mohammad Shahzad, who hit eight sixes and six fours in his knock of 74 off just 16 balls. His knock ensured that his team Rajputs chased down the target set by Sindhis (95) with six overs to spare. Shane Watson will look to lead from the front and inspire his team to put the past behind them and register their first win in the tournament.
