Akbar Ebrahim elected president of national motorsports body

Chennai, Dec 12 (IANS) Akbar Ebrahim and J. Prithiviraj have been elected President and Vice-President respectively of the Federation of Motor Sports Clubs of India (FMSCI), it was announced on Monday.

Akbar was elected at the FMSCI Annual General Meeting held in Chennai on Sunday. Elections were conducted for member clubs to be elected to the FMSCI council for 2017-2018.

Akbar Ebrahim said: "It is a great honour to be elected as the President of the FMSCI. I intend to dedicate my time and energy towards further development of Indian motorsports right from the grassroot level all the way to the top nationally and internationally."
