The San Francisco 49ers wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk is a first-round draft pick from the 2020 NFL Draft as he was selected with the 25th overall pick. Aiyuk grew up in Reno, Nevada and attended Robert McQueen High School. He played wide receiver as well as defensive back for the high school football team. Aiyuk began his collegiate football in 2016 at Sierra College. He recorded 60 receptions for 960 yards and 14 touchdowns and was named a Junior College All-American in his sophomore season. Aiyuk turned down offers from Colorado State, Kansas, Tennessee, and Alabama. He committed to transfer to Arizona State for the last two years of his NCAA eligibility.

Aiyuk became a pro in 2020. He made his debut in Week 2 against the Jets and picked up the pace in no time. In his first three professional games, he became the first wide receiver to record two rushing touchdowns since the merger. Aiyuk has been a starter for San Francisco for 4 seasons as of 2024. In his rookie season Week 3, he scored his first career touchdown against the Giants. Aiyuk made an appearance in 17 games of the 2022 season, gaining 1,015 yards and 8 touchdowns from 78 receptions in addition to 24 yards gained from 2 rushes. He had six receptions for 109 yards in the postseason. But, the 2023 season was where he put up career numbers across the board as he went for 1,342 yards in 16 games along with getting into the endzone 7 times.
