Bryce Young is one of the top prospects in the 2023 NFL Draft. He is expected to be drafted as one of the top two players in the NFL Draft after having some exemplary games for the Alabama Crimson Tide over the years. He is undoubtedly the best quarterback going into the 2023 NFL Draft with several accolades to his name already. The 2021 Heisman Trophy winner was also named the College Football Player of the Year (2021) by the Associated Press.

Currently pursuing a Psychology major at the University of Alabama, Young has spent his entire college career with the Alabama Crimson Tide. The young quarterback is one of the best dual-threat quarterbacks at the college level and his reactive flair on the field is one of his best qualities too.

Although Bryce Young was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, he later immigrated to California. In California, Bryce first attended Cathedral High School and later shifted to Mater Dei High School in his final years of high school. Bryce began practicing as a quarterback at an early age and received numerous accolades at the collegiate level. During his senior year of high school, the USA Today High School Offensive Player of the Year was ranked as the second-best recruit overall and the top high school quarterback prospect. He then went on to play for the University of Alabama, where he quickly made a name for himself as one of the best quarterbacks in college football.

Bryce Young decided to forgo his final season at the University of Alabama to enter the 2023 NFL Draft. Young was a consensus All-American in addition to winning the Heisman Trophy, the AP Player of the Year, the Davey O'Brien Award, the Manning Award, the Maxwell Award, and the SEC Offensive Player of the Year. Bryce Young already attended the NFL Combine where he already became the fourth fastest quarterback since 2003 in his 40-yard dash. We take a look into the physical attributes of Bryce Young, as he enters the 2023 NFL Draft.

How tall is Bryce Young?

Bryce Young does not have the conventional height that quarterbacks generally possess in the NFL. He is 5 feet and 10 inches (1.78 meters) tall. Shorter quarterbacks like Kyler Murray and Drew Brees have been drafted in the first round of the NFL and the latter has also thrived as one of the best quarterbacks in their time.

In his time at Alabama, Young completed 65.8% of his throws for 8,356 yards, 80 touchdowns, and 12 interceptions. He developed a reputation as one of the top decision-makers in the country while also making use of his mobility when required. This goes on to show that his short stature (for a quarterback) does not necessarily translate to underwhelming performances on the field, and he has the potential to be a great NFL star.

Bryce Young’s Weight

Bryce Young currently weighs 204 lb (92 kg). He makes good use of his strength and has emerged as a quick dual-threat quarterback, having the ability to run up the field when required. Bryce Young has a strong arm, quick release, good accuracy, mobility and a knack for making big plays, even on the move.

Bryce Young’s Age

Bryce Young was born on July 25, 2001. He has entered the 2023 NFL Draft and is expected to be one of the first few people to be drafted. His age is currently 21 years and he will be 22 by the time he plays in the NFL.

Bryce Young’s Wingspan

Bryce Young has a very impressive wingspan of 30.5 inches as per the NFL Combine scores. He is very accurate with his throws and is very quick to spot receivers in the scramble. He is an anticipatory thrower who reads the entire field before a throw. Bryce Young shows a lot of creativity and can release the ball from any arm angle or platform.
