In 15 games, he passed for an astounding 4,872 yards and 47 touchdowns. His final year with the Crimson Tide was his junior year. In 12 games, he passed for 3,328 yards and 32 touchdowns. That season, he also ran for 185 yards and four touchdowns. A 23-4 record in his two seasons as a starter marked the successful conclusion of his college football career. For the Alabama Crimson Tide, Young passed for a total of 8,356 yards and 80 touchdowns. His rookie year was the one to forget as he led the Panthers to an abysmal 2-14 record in his 16 starts while throwing for 2,877 yards. He was benched two games into his sophomore season but was named the starter before week 8 of the 2024 NFL season. In 8 games in 2024 (six starts), Young has a TD: INT ratio of 5:6 as of November 2024.
