Bryce Young's parents are Craig and Julie Young.

Bryce Young, the quarterback for the Carolina Panthers is in his second season in the NFL as of 2024. The first overall pick from the 2023 NFL was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. However, he later moved to California and his high school years were spent at Cathedral High School and Mater Dei High School in California. Since he was young, Bryce has been preparing to play quarterback and has received several accolades at the collegiate level. The second-ranked recruit overall and the top high school quarterback prospect during his senior year in high school won the USA Today High School Offensive Player of the Year.

After playing as a backup in his true freshman season at Alabama, the 5 ft 10 signal-caller was named the team's starting quarterback for the 2021 season. He had an exceptional sophomore year, passing for 4,782 passing yards and 47 touchdowns. As a result, he was crowned the 2021 NCAA football season's Heisman Trophy winner. Bryce Young became the first quarterback from the University of Alabama to have won the famed Heisman Trophy. The Alabama quarterback enjoyed a strong junior campaign even if the Crimson Tide didn't contend for a national title this year. Despite having a shoulder issue, he passed for 3,000 yards. After a successful collegiate career, Young came into the league with much fanfare. However, his path into the NFL has been anything but successful. After a dreadful rookie season, which saw him and his team go 2-14 with him under center, he has a 2-4 record in six games he has started for the Panthers in the 2024 NFL season as of November 2024.
