Skattebo forced 225 missed tackles in rushing plays, which ranks fourth among active running backs, and also has an impressive touchdown rate of 36.0% on career carries. In 2022, he was named Big Sky Offensive Player of the Year at Sacramento State, rushing for 1,382 yards and seven touchdowns while adding 371 receiving yards and three more touchdowns. At Arizona State, Skattebo accounted for 17 career 100-yard rushing games and won Big 12 Offensive Player of the Week honors. He was also the semifinalist for the Maxwell and Doak Walker Awards.
