Chauncey "C.J." Gardner-Johnson is a professional American football safety for the Houston Texans in the NFL as of March 2025. He was selected 105th overall in the fourth round of the 2019 NFL Draft by the New Orleans Saints. Gardner-Johnson finished his rookie season with one interception, one forced fumble, and 49 tackles. On August 30, 2022, the Saints traded him to the Philadelphia Eagles. He finished the 2022 season with 67 tackles and helped the Eagles reach Super Bowl LVII.
