Where did Cobee Bryant go to College?

Cobee Bryant is a college football cornerback for the Kansas Jayhawks. Bryant started his collegiate journey in the 2021 season. Cobee Bryant chose to play for the Kansas Jayhawks over offers from Tennessee, Virginia Tech, Georgia Tech, Ole Miss, and more, according to the official Kansas Athletics website.

The Sporting News Second Team All-America, FCA Coaches Second Team All-America, Unanimous First Team All-Big 12, and being the first Jayhawk in Big 12 history to be selected First Team All-Big 12 in three consecutive seasons are a few of his notable accolades. In addition, he was named the Big 12 Conference Defensive Player of the Week, Reese's Senior Bowl Co-Defensive Player of the Week, East-West Shrine Bowl Breakout Player of the Week, Bronko Nagurski National Defensive Player of the Week, and Paycom Jim Thorpe National Defensive Back of the Week on October 21 and 22, 2024, respectively.

Cobee Bryant College

Cobee Bryant enrolled with the University of Kansas, where he plays as a cornerback for the Kansas Jayhawks. In 2021, his true freshman season, he played 11 out of 12 games. He finished the year with 21 tackles, three pass deflections, and two interceptions.

In 2022, his sophomore season, Bryant earned the starting spot on the Jayhawks’ football team at the cornerback position. In 12 games, he improved his tackles to 38 on the season, of which 32 were solo tackles.

Cobee Bryant High School

Bryant, who hails from Alabama, went to Hillcrest High School in Evergreen, Conecuh County, Alabama. He was a multi-sport athlete in high school, playing and lettering in basketball, baseball, and track & field while also being a member of the school’s football team.

Rivals rated Bryant as a three-star recruit in football during his high school days. His standout high school performance was in 2018 when he scored four touchdowns, all in different ways. He scored one touchdown through a reception, another one off a fumble recovery, a third one from a kickoff return, and a fourth one through an interception return.
