The Missouri-based quarterback, Andrew Stephen Lock is a professional football player for the New York Giants. Lock was the forty-second pick for the Denver Broncos in the second round of the 2019 NFL draft. During the preseason Lock endured a thumb injury and was placed on the injured reserve. He won his first NFL game against the Los Angeles Chargers where he had one interception and also scored two touchdowns. In Week 2 of the 2020 season, Lock suffered a shoulder injury and was out for 4 weeks. Lock also became the youngest player to defeat the New England Patriots under head coach Bill Belichick at the Gillette Stadium. In 2022 Lock was traded to the Seattle Seahawks. After spending two years in Seattle, Lock agreed to a 1-year deal with the New York Giants in 2024.

As a junior, at Lee’s Summit High School, Lock recorded a total of thirty-five touchdowns. He used to play basketball in High School but decided to forgo and continue with his football career. For collegiate football, Andrew joined the University of Missouri. Lock concluded the 2016 regular season ranked second in the Southeastern Conference (SEC) for passing yards (3,399). In the 2017 season Lock was selected to the First-team All-SEC. Lock’s collegiate career ended with a total of 108 touchdowns.
