Michigan-born place kicker Jake Moody is a two-time All-American and the 2021 Lou Groza Award winner. He currently plays for the San Francisco 49ers in the National Football League (NFL). He was drafted in the third round of the 2023 NFL draft. He just finished his rookie season in February 2024 very nearly winning the Super Bowl against the Kansas City Chiefs.
Moody played college football at the University of Michigan where Moody set a Michigan single-game record with six field goals in his freshman season.
