Joseph Lee Burrow is an American football quarterback for the Cincinnati Bengals as of the 2024 NFL season. The Bengals selected him with the first overall pick in the first round of the 2020 NFL Draft. In 2023, Burrow signed a five-year, $275 million contract extension with the Bengals (via Spotrac). As of Week 13 of the 2024 season, Burrow has recorded 127 touchdowns and 42 interceptions, with 17,420 passing yards. He was also named the NFL Comeback Player of the Year in 2021 and earned a Pro Bowl selection in 2022.
Before entering the NFL, Burrow represented both Ohio State University (2015–2017) and Louisiana State University (2018–2019) at the collegiate level. According to Sports Reference, he concluded his college career with 8,852 yards, 78 touchdowns, and 11 interceptions. In 2019, Burrow won several prestigious awards, including the Heisman Trophy, Maxwell Award, Walter Camp Award, Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award, Davey O'Brien Award, Manning Award, and Lombardi Award. During high school, Joe Burrow attended Athens High School in The Plains, Ohio, from 2011 to 2014.

Joe Burrow Conference Championships Record

In the 2021 AFC Championship, Burrow helped the Bengals overcome a 21–3 deficit to beat the Chiefs 27–24 in overtime.
