The 6-foot-4 signal caller sat behind incumbent Aaron Rodgers for three years after getting selected 26th overall in the first round of the 2020 NFL draft. After serving as a backup for three years, he got his chance to be the starter in 2023 after Aaron Rodgers got traded to the New York Jets. According to Pro Football Reference, he threw for over 4,000 yards and rushed for another 247 on the ground while accumulating 36 total touchdowns compared to just 11 interceptions in the 2023 season. The team finished second in the division after coming 3rd in the NFC North the previous year. After finishing his secondary education, Green Bay’s signal caller committed to Utah State University, where he played for the Aggies from 2016 to 2019.
