Born in California, Love attended Liberty High School where he started playing football before continuing his college football career at Utah State. After being selected by the Packers in the 2020 NFL draft, Love signed a 4-year fully guaranteed contract valued at over $12.3 million with the Packers. After three years of serving as Aaron Rodgers’ backup, the Packers finally named him starting quarterback of the Green Bay Packers for the 2023 NFL season and Love ran away with the opportunity as he went on to lead his team to the Divisional round in his first ever season as a starter for the Packers. His stellar play from 2023 was enough for Green Bay Packers brass to lock him down until 2028 by signing him to a lucrative deal worth $220 million.

Love is the son of Orbin Jr. Love and Anna Love. He was born in Bakersfield, California. Both his parents served as police officers in California. His parents had four children together named Kami, Emily, Alexis and Jordan. Unfortunately, Love’s family had to live through the heartbreaking event of Orbin’s passing. This was an overwhelming situation for Jordan and his family. The family was devastated but they remained united during tough times and overcame that.
