Joshua Cardell Jacobs, commonly known as Josh Jacobs is an American football running back playing for the Green Bay Packers of the NFL as of 2024. He began his NFL career with the Las Vegas Raiders after being selected as the 24th overall pick in the first round of the 2019 NFL Draft. Before joining the Packers in 2024, he spent his first five years with the Raiders. The two-time Pro Bowler has been as advertised since entering the NFL. He went over 1k yards in each of his first two seasons and had a career year in 2022 when he rushed for 1,653 yards and scored 12 rushing touchdowns. After spending five years in Las Vegas, Jacobs moved to Green Bay when he was rewarded a 4-year $48 million contract by the Packers in 2024 as per Spotrac. The 26-year-old (as of December 2024) has 4 seasons of 1k or more rushing yards, including the 2024 NFL season, where he has rushed for 1,147 yards through the first 15 weeks of the season.

Jacobs, a native of Tulsa, Oklahoma attended McLain High School in his hometown. Following this, 5 ft 10 in back opted for the University of Alabama in 2016. The 2022 NFL rushing yards leader played for three years with the Crimson Tide and accumulated 1,491 yards on the ground and 299 receiving yards en route to winning a national championship in the 2017 season.
