Josh Simmons is an American football offensive tackle for the Kansas City Chiefs of the NFL. The Chiefs grabbed him in the first round of the 2025 NFL draft with the 32nd overall pick. He formerly represented the Ohio State University from 2023 to 2024 and the San Diego State University from 2021 to 2022. In December 2024, he reportedly declared for the 2025 NFL Draft. In 2024, he became a CFP national champion and earned Third-Team All-Big Ten honors.

According to Sports Reference, Simmons played as an offensive lineman for San Diego State in 2022, appearing in 13 games as a freshman. He then transferred to Ohio State, where he played 13 games in 2023 as a junior and six games in 2024 as a senior. Simmons attended Madison High School before transferring to Helix High School. As a senior, he was a consensus four-star prospect, according to 247Sports, Rivals, and ESPN, as per Ohio State's official website.
