Coming out of Merrillville as the No.11 player in the 2022 recruiting class, Kenneth Grant embarked on his college football journey with Michigan over offers from Akron, Arizona State, Eastern Michigan, Illinois, Ohio State, Nebraska, Indiana, and Purdue. In his freshman season for the Wolverines, Grant appeared in 14 games and registered eight tackles, finishing the season behind Mazi Smith and Kris Jenkins. As a sophomore, Grant appeared in 15 games, making 29 tackles with 3.5 sacks, six quarterback hurries, five pass breakups, and one interception. He helped the team win the national championship in 2023. In 2024, he was named to the All-American Third Team and the All-Big Ten Second Team made by team, coaches, and media.
