Kenneth Grant is a football defensive tackle who has been a part of the Michigan Wolverines defensive line over the past three seasons. Coming out of high school, the Merrillville native was rated as a four-star recruit and the No. 3 ranked player in the state of Indiana and also played along the offensive line. During his high school senior year, Grant registered 38 tackles. Kenneth Grant helped the team to their best four-year stretch in the program's history with a 40-9 record.
Grant began his collegiate football journey with the University of Michigan over offers from Ohio State, Wisconsin, Arizona State, Cincinnati, and Nebraska in 2021 and began his collegiate career in July 2022. He saw action in all 14 games in his freshman year and recorded eight tackles to earn his first varsity letter. The 6ft 3 in., 339-pound freshman helped the Wolverines win a national championship in the 2023 season. Grant appeared in all 15 games on the defensive interior, tallying 29 tackles, 3.5 sacks, six quarterback hurries, one interception, and two fumbles. Last season, Grant recorded 32 total tackles with 6.5 tackles for loss while starting 12 games in the defensive line. In late 2024, Grant announced he would forego his final year of eligibility to enter the 2025 NFL Draft.
