He was picked by the Pittsburgh Steelers in the first round of the 2022 NFL Draft with the 20th overall pick. In 2024, he was traded to the Philadelphia Eagles before being traded again to the Cleveland Browns in March 2025. As of the 2024 NFL regular season, he has recorded 15 touchdowns, 14 interceptions, 4,765 passing yards, and a 79.3 passer rating.

Pickett was born on 6 June 1998 in Ocean Township, New Jersey. He played high school football at Ocean Township High School and continued to play college football for the University of Pittsburgh. Throughout his college football career, Kenny Pickett emerged as a top-notch performer. He won the Johnny Unitas Golden Arm Award in 2021 and was a First-team All-American the same year. He was also named ACC Athlete of the Year in 2022, as well as ACC Player of the Year, ACC Offensive Player of the Year, and First-team All-ACC in 2021.
