Former rugby union player Louis Reez-Zammit was born in Wales on February 2, 2001 and has been playing rugby since high school. By the age of 16, he had enrolled at Hartpury College. He joined the professional rugby union club Gloucester in 2017, where he stayed until early 2024, making 77 appearances and scoring 210 points.

During his time playing for Wales, the 32-cap Welsh professional scored 14 tries in his international career. Rees-Zammit was added to the squad for the British and Irish Lions Tour to South Africa in 2021 after he won the 2021 Six Nations Championship. However, in January 2024, he left rugby to play American football and joined the Kansas City Chiefs in March 2024.
