Randy Moss is a former professional American footballer who played as a wide receiver in the National Football League (NFL). Moss's professional career started in the year 1998 when he was selected by the Minnesota Vikings as the 21st overall pick of the NFL draft 1998.

He retired from the NFL on August 1, 2006, however, came out of his retirement on his 35th birthday. He signed a deal of one year with the San Francisco 49ers in 2012 and he completed the subsequent season with 28 catches for 434 yards and three touchdowns.
