Free agent tight end Rob Gronkowski has had the luxury of playing with Tom Brady for 11 NFL seasons. During this time, the pair have won four Lombardi trophies together.

But with Brady retiring, Gronkowski will now have to find a new quarterback to play with (unless Brady decides to backtrack and returns for at least another season). He may have already hinted at who that could be.

The future Hall of Fame tight end recently praised Cincinnati Bengals quarterback Joe Burrow. Here's what he had to say about the former LSU standout during an interview with CBSsports:

"I love the way Joe Burrow presents himself on the field. Regardless of the outcome, the Super Bowl was a great game and he left his best out there. I've watched him since college, he's confident in the pocket, and he just slings it out into the play. I love his swag, he's killing it right now and I think we're going to see a bright future ahead for him."

Perhaps Gronkowski is hinting at wanting to play for the Bengals. The Gronkowski-Burrow duo would be a menace for opposing defenses.

The star tight end will be free to choose his next destination when the new league season commences on March 16th. Will he return to the team that he helped win a Super Bowl championship in 2020 or will he join another team?

NFL insider Ian Rapoport was a former guest on The Pat McAfee Show and here's what he had to say just weeks before the retirement of Tom Brady:

"I've always been told that Gronk will only play with Brady. I would imagine if Brady is done, so is Gronk."

There has been recent chatter that Gronkowski may be interested in playing for the Buffalo Bills. The tight end grew up about 20 minutes away from Orchard Park, which is where the Bills play their home games.

The Bills have an explosive team that features perennial All-Pro quarterback Josh Allen and star receiver Stefon Diggs. They also have a star in the making at the tight end position with Dawson Knox.

Rob Gronkowski's arrival could allow the Bills to run a two tight end formation. The set would place immense pressure on opposing defenses.

Stay tuned as the new league year begins March 16 and fans will find out whether or not the Buccaneers star tight end will re-sign with the team, sign with another team or simply retire.
