Robert Longerbeam is a former collegiate football cornerback representing the Rutgers Scarlet Knights football team from 2020-2024. He is from Alexandria, Virginia, where he attended T. C. Williams High School, where he began his football journey. Over five seasons, he appeared in 53 games and made 31 starts. He was named honorable mention All-Big Ten twice and finished his collegiate career with 154 tackles, 4.5 for loss, two sacks, five interceptions, and 37 pass breakups. He also had five forced fumbles, recovered two, and played in three bowl games. In 2024, he led the Big Ten and ranked third nationally with 42 career passes defended. He had at least 10 pass breakups in three seasons and logged eight games with multiple pass deflections. On December 29, 2024, Robert declared for the NFL Draft on Instagram (@robertlongerbeam7). At the Combine, his Next Gen Stats score of 64 ranked 29th overall among the cornerbacks, according to NFL's official website.
