Tony Pollard is a Professional American footballer who plays in the National football league as a running back for the Dallas Cowboys. Pollard's professional career in the NFL began in 2019 when he was selected in the fifth round by the Dallas Cowboys in the NFL draft 2019.

In the 35-17 victory against the New York Giants Pollard made his NFL debut where in his first match he recorded 13 carries for 24 yards. In the following weeks in a match against the Miami Dolphins, Pollard played his first 100+ yard game where he recorded 103 rushing yards on 13 carries and a touchdown in a victory of 31-6. Tony Pollard continued his performance throughout the entire season where he finished his first season with four rushing touchdowns to go along with 28 receptions for 193 receiving yards and one receiving touchdown. In the 2020 season, Pollard in a game against the San Francisco 49ers recorded 132 yards from scrimmage and two rushing touchdowns in the victory of 41-33.

In the 2022 season in a match against the Chicago Bears Pollard in the victory of 49-29 recorded 13 carries for 141 yards and three rushing touchdowns and due to his brilliant performance he was named Ground Player of the Week. He also won the NFC Offensive Player of the Week because of his performance in the 54-19 victory against the Minnesota Vikings where he recorded 80 rushing yards, and six catches for 109 yards and two touchdowns. Pollard suffered an ankle injury in a game against the San Francisco 49ers later it was revealed that Pollard needs to have surgery due to the following injury. In 2023 the Dallas Cowboys placed a franchise tag on Pollard.

Before stepping into the NFL Pollard played college football with the University of Memphis. In his freshman year, he was named the American Athletic Conference's Special Teams Player of the Year. He had a great sophomore season where he recorded 36 receptions for 536 yards, 30 carries for 230 yards, and six touchdowns. Pollard was considered one of the best kickoff return specialists in college football in his Junior season in a game against Wake Forest in the Birmingham Bowl he recorded 318 yards and one rushing touchdown.
