Travis Etienne is a professional American footballer who plays in the national football league as a running back for the Jacksonville Jaguars. His professional career started in the year 2021 when he was selected by the Jaguars in the NFL draft of 2021.

After being selected by the Jacksonville Jaguars Etienne signed a deal with them for four years of worth $12.9 million. The Jaguars Head coach announced that Etienne upon joining will not be playing at his usual position that being as running back but will instead be playing as a wide receiver for the team. In a preseason game against the New Orleans Saints Etienne suffered a Lisfranc injury. It was then later revealed that the following injury will require him to have surgery which resulted in the end of his first season with the Jaguars before it even began.

Etienne made his official NFL debut in the opening match of the 2022 season against the Washington Commanders, where he recorded four carries for 47 rushing yards. In a game against the New York Giants Etienne recorded the touchdown of his NFL career. In the following season Etienne was named as the starting running back in the team. Etienne continued his brilliant performances week after week and in a 27-20 win against the Dallas Cowboys he recorded 109 rushing yards and two rushing touchdowns. After being unable to play in his first season Etienne finished his second season on a high note where he recorded 220 carries for 1,125 rushing yards and five rushing touchdowns with 35 receptions for 316 receiving yards.

Before his journey in the NFL began Etienne played college football with Clemson University and in his freshman year he recorded 766 yards on 107 carries with 13 touchdowns. In his sophomore year, Etienne became the key factor in the team's victory in the championship game. Due to the brilliant performance, Etienne showcased in his junior season, he was named as the ACC Offensive Player of the Year. He finished his college career on a high note where in his entire run he had 4,952 career rushing yards and 78 touchdowns.

Travis Etienne was born in Jennings, Louisiana on January 26, 1999, Currently, he is 24 years old. The young has only played one season in his NFL career and in just that only one season he was able to catch everyone's eye due to his brilliant performance.
