Trevor Lawrence had an outstanding college career at Clemson University, establishing himself as one of the best college quarterbacks of his time. As a freshman in 2018, Lawrence took over as Clemson's starting quarterback after just four games. He led the team to an undefeated regular season and a dominant 44-16 win over Alabama in the 2019 College Football Playoff National Championship, becoming the first true freshman to lead his team to a national title since 1985. He was named Offensive MVP of the game and finished his freshman season with 3,280 passing yards and 30 touchdowns.

In his sophomore year, Lawrence continued to excel, helping Clemson to another undefeated regular season and an ACC Championship. He led Clemson to the national title game again but fell short against LSU. Despite the loss, Lawrence threw for 3,665 yards and 36 touchdowns that season.

During his junior year, Lawrence faced challenges, including a COVID-19 diagnosis that caused him to miss two games. However, he still finished the season with 3,153 passing yards and 24 touchdowns. He was named ACC Player of the Year and finished second in the Heisman Trophy voting. Lawrence declared for the NFL Draft after his junior season, leaving Clemson with an impressive 34-2 career record.

Those wins also included two state championships and four region titles. Easily regarded as a five star recruit, and one of the best quarterback prospects of all time, he decided to continue developing his game at Clemson University.
