Video: Pearson and Powell dominate Ostrava Golden Spike

Sally Pearson, Asafa Powell and Kirani James won their individual events in Ostrava on Thursday.

It was dark and it was miserable.

But one woman was out to put a smile on the faces of the Ostrava crowd in the Czech Republic.

Sally Pearson did not disappoint.

The Olympic champion looked in great shape ahead of this summer’s world championships, winning the 100m hurdles in 12.67seconds.

Asafa Powell ran a season’s best time in the 100m but the race was called back for a false start.

The Jamaican didn’t seem too annoyed, he still repeated his win in 10.06seconds with Kim Collins in second,

Kirani James of Grenada extended his dominance in the 400 metres, setting a meeting record at the Golden Spike.
