5 reasons why Daniel Bryan should win at WrestleMania XXX

A couple of months back, the WWE Universe was stuck in a limbo finding it hard to choose between watching and skipping WrestleMania. The reason for that was, WWE seemed destined to give us a stale main event at the pay-per-view which no one was eager about.Things soon changed and now, the same fans see WrestleMania as the stage where they could see the capping of the biggest underdog story in WWE. And if the company has any one to thank for this, it is none other than Daniel Bryan.Arguably the most over star in the roster, it was the booking of Bryan that decided the faith of WrestleMania. And since he now has a possibility of walking out of the pay-per-view as the champion, WWE is all set to see the fans embrace WrestleMania. However, only half the job is done now as far as WWE is concerned. A Daniel Bryan win is what everyone wants and here are the reasons why it needs to happen at any cost.

#5 No one would be a better choice as champion

First we have Batista, who is botching even the basic promos given to him. Then we have Randy Orton, who’ve held the title from December and made look Dean Ambrose a better champion.

Third candidate is Triple H, who should lose if Bryan has to be in the main event. And lastly we have Bryan, who could carry an A* match every time he steps into the ring and would make a worthy champion.

The objective behind the unification of the titles was to make it more worthy but the title being stuck in Orton’s hands did nothing good. Orton being a duck champion wasn’t in the plan and the fans was bored to the core.

However, Bryan could bring back the value to the title and be a worthy champion than anyone who is involved with it now.

#4 He deserves it

Bryan is one of those wrestlers who revolutionized WWE. He didn’t throw up middle fingers in public; he didn’t rise from the dead nor did he have a great gimmick.

What Bryan had was a heart and determination to show the fans what pure wrestling was all about. He did it in style and became a big star. He also forced wrestlers like Orton and Cena to raise their game as well.

Bryan also taught the fans to appreciate wrestling rather than gimmicks which paved the way for talents like Seth Rollins, Antonio Cesaro to take the centre stage.

After contributing this much to WWE over such a short span and saving their face, Bryan clearly deserves his moment at the grandest stage that WWE could ever offer.

#3 Its what the fans want

Vince McMahon and his promotion wouldn’t have been alive at the moment if it wasn’t for the fans. They stood with the company during all the scandals and deaths and helped WWE to rise as the only big power in wrestling at the moment.

WWE have always taken into account what the fans want and what they want this year is Bryan walking out of WrestleMania with both the titles in his shoulder.

They don’t want Taker’s streak to end or continue, they don’t mind anyone winning the Andre the Giant Battle Royal, they won’t mind if AJ Lee retains her title or not, simply speaking, they just don’t care about the rest of the card.

Bryan is arguably the only attraction that has been keeping WrestleMania afloat and if the WWE don’t want the fans to sit home and tune into something else after April 6, they should get Bryan the gold.

#2 Its the best thing for business

One of the biggest arguments that rose against Daniel Bryan is that he was only a B+ star. Well frankly he doesn’t have the looks or physique to be the face of the company.

But we are in a phase where the fans don’t mind about how a wrestler looks. The fans are evaluating everyone on the basis of performance than looks which throws out Triple H’s claim that Bryan has no requirements to be the face of the company.

Bryan may not be one of those film poster guys, but he could certainly be the face of a “wrestling company”. WWE could easily push him to be the next top guy and could build the next generation around him.

Making Bryan win the math also opens the door for Bryan to go behind bigger feuds now that he has big WrestleMania win under his resume. This win would make his future battles and WWE’s future storylines more effective making it a best for business decision.

#1 Best way to end the show

WrestleMania is always the stage where memorable moments are made. Going through the history we’ve seen many stories unfold and mark its climax at WrestleMania.

And this year, there won’t be anything better than having the underdog story of Bryan culminate at the legendary pay-per-view. Bryan has been the best representative of the American Dream in PG Era as he rose from a non-wrestling background and conquered the whole business when no one expected him to do so.

Bryan has been pulled down in every way possible by the company and the backstage politics, but he rose from the ashes and emerged above all this haters.

It’s an underdog story that could make a great WrestleMania moment which would inspire each and every budding wrestler out there who dreams to be at the grand stage one day.
