Rap artist GloRilla surprised the United Center crowd in Chicago at her recent concert by bringing Sky star rookie Angel Reese to the stage. Reese has quickly grown into a fan-favorite in the Windy City and even gained the nickname "Chi-Town Barbie" before her first official WNBA game.

In a post on social media, Reese was brought to the stage by GloRilla during one of her songs at the Hot Girl Summer Tour in Chicago. The "Yeah Glo!" artist was the special guest for the concert featuring Megan Thee Stallion.

However, it seems like Reese stole the show, as she towered over almost everyone on stage. Standing six-foot-three, she was wearing pink boots that might have added a few more inches to her stature.

Here's the video of Angel Reese and GloRilla:

It was a two-day concert featuring Megan Thee Stallion and GloRilla, starting on May 17 and ending May 19. Angel Reese might have had one of the best times of her young career as she hung out with Megan backstage.

Here's a video of Reese with the "HISS" artist:

Angel Reese has fully embraced her role as a star in the Windy City, and fans have responded well to her. A lot of fans cheered when she came out of the concert to represent the Chicago Sky.

Reese is averaging 11.5 points and 8.5 rebounds in the first two games of her career. She's not only a star on the court but also off it.

Apart from getting on stage in a concert, the 22-year-old forward made her Met Gala debut last week. It showed how popular she is because not every athlete or celebrity gets invited to an event like that.

Angel Reese helping sell out games

Caitlin Clark is not the only player to have an effect on WNBA games and attendance this season.

Angel Reese might not be the best player in the league, but she's popular to have her own fanbase. She helped the Dallas Wings sell out their first two home games of the season.

Sky fans are expected to pack the Wintrust Arena for their home opener on Saturday against the Connecticut Sun. The Sky opened their campaign with two away games in Dallas and now visit the New York Liberty at the Barclays Center.

While Reese doesn't need to put an effort into being a star, she needs to start improving her free throws. She's 7-for-15 at the charity stripe in the first two games. Sky coach Terese Weatherspoon had this to say:

"We work too much, too long on free throws to step up there and shoot the way that we did the first game. But it happens. Those things happen. So what do you do to bounce back from it? You work at it again, you go right back to the drawing board... and they did," Weatherspoon said.
