4 talking points WWE quietly told us on Monday Night Raw this week

Will Rollins become the 'Beast Slayer'?
Will Rollins become the 'Beast Slayer'?

With three weeks remaining before the Grandest Stage of Them All, RAW was expected to be a blockbuster show this week. The flagship show had some splendid moments this week, but it failed to reach the expectations. Considering the red brand offered imposing episodes in the last few weeks, it was not up to the mark this week.

Surprisingly, Roman Reigns was absent from the RAW this week. The Universal Champion Brock Lesnar showed up on RAW after nearly two months. The Beast Incarnate's last appearance was on the RAW after Royal Rumble.

Batista took a shot at Triple H after appearing via satellite. There is no denying that the most shocking moment of the RAW was when Kurt Angle announced Baron Corbin as his final opponent while Beth Phoenix also announced her coming out of retirement to compete at the Showcase of Immortals.

Drew McIntyre carried his remarkable run from last week as he defeated Seth Rollins after Brock Lesnar distracted the latter. The Scottish Psychopath pinned two Shield members in two weeks. Though Ronda Rousey locked horns with Dana Brooke, the other two challengers for the Raw Women's Championship match were missing this week. However, Rousey's husband, Travis Browne, who is a UFC fighter, entered the storyline as he knocked out a security guard with a vicious forearm to the face.

Here we discuss four talking points that Vince Mcmahon's billion dollar company quietly narrated on Monday Night Raw this week.

#4 The Women's Tag Team Match could be a multi-team tag team match in New Jersey

Beth Pheonix announced to break her retirement on RAW
Beth Pheonix announced to break her retirement on RAW

The WWE Women's Tag Team Champions Sasha Banks and Bayley are searching their new opponents. The two women stated that they will put the twin belts on the line against any team from any brand. The Boss N Hug Connection had their first title defence at Fastlane where they overpowered the team of Tamina and Nia Jax.

Beth Phoenix, who announced her return, challenged the current Women's Tag Team Champions along with Natalya. Interestingly, Nia Jax and Tamina are also involved in this feud, but they are not likely to be the challengers at the Show of Shows as they already had a title shot at Fastlane.

Since Sasha and Bayley will appear on Smackdown Live to confront IIconics, Billie Kay and Peyton Royce could also challenge the Women's Tag Team Champions in New Jersey. In fact, Boss N Hug Connection also showed up on NXT a few weeks ago, and another team from the developmental brand could challenge the Champions at the Show of Shows. Considering the current scenario, we might see a multi-team Women's Tag Team match at WrestleMania 35.

#3 Undertaker is still uncertain for WrestleMania 35

With only three weeks left for the Showcase of Immortals in New Jersey, there is still no sign of the Undertaker. Several fans anticipated a return of the Phenom on RAW this week, but it did not happen. Considering only two RAW episodes are left before WrestleMania 35, Undertaker's participation is in serious jeopardy.

The Phenom made his WWE debut in 1990, and he has been an integral part of WrestleMania for three decades. Undertaker missed only two WrestleManias in his career as he did not compete at both WrestleMania X and WrestleMania 2000. Since there is no appearance of the Phenom yet, it will be interesting to see if he misses the Show of Shows after nineteen years.

Undertaker's last appearance was at Crown Jewel where he teamed up with Kane to fight DX. Since all the top superstars are booked for the Showcase of Immortals, it will be compelling to see if Undertaker gets a match at the Grandest Stage of Them All and the next two episodes of the RAW could give a clear answer.

#2 Baron Corbin might not be Kurt Angle's final opponent

Will we see a twist?
Will we see a twist?

Kurt Angle stunned the WWE Universe this week when he announced Baron Corbin as his last opponent at the Grandest Stage of Them All. Considering the gigantic legacy of Angle, Corbin is definitely not a suitable candidate to retire the WWE Hall of Famer. Therefore, it could be a work to provide a good momentum to the Olympic Gold Medalist, and his ultimate WrestleMania opponent could be revealed a week before the Showcase of Immortals.

There is no denying that Kurt Angle is one of the greatest wrestlers ever to set foot in the WWE ring. The five-time WWE Champion is a Grand Slam Champion who won all the active titles in his prime. Meanwhile, Baron Corbin is a mismatch for the former WWE Champion and he has not achieved significant success in his WWE career.

It is no secret that Corbin and Angle had an interesting rivalry last year when Corbin humiliated the Olympic Gold Medalist. Corbin is known to create a nuclear heat, and he could be doing the same in this storyline. Angle might get his redemption in the coming weeks before announcing his ultimate opponent for the Shows of Shows.

Apollo Crews defeated Corbin on RAW this week, and Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose also dismantled Corbin after RAW went off the air. Corbin's current momentum suggests that he is not ready to retire the legendary superstar. The sixteen-time WWE Champion John Cena could be an ideal final opponent for Kurt Angle as Cena made his WWE debut against the Olympic Gold Medalist.

#1 Drew McIntyre and Roman Reigns could steal the show at WrestleMania 35

There is no denying that Drew McIntyre has become hot property of the red brand in recent weeks. The Scottish Psychopath stole the show last week, and he was not far behind this week. McIntyre assaulted Roman Reigns and defeated Dean Ambrose previous week while he pinned the Universal Title Challenger Seth Rollins this week.

McIntyre has shown complete domination by taking out all three members of the Shield. Drew McIntyre made a statement last week when he attacked the Big Dog. He called out Reigns for a match at Showcase of Immortals this week.

Though Reigns was not present on the RAW this week, he could answer McIntyre next week. It could be one of the best bouts at Metlife Stadium as one of the biggest heels of Vince McMahon's billion dollar company will tussle with the top babyface of WWE.

Though the build-up of the match has not been long, it has provoked interest in the WWE Universe. The next two episodes of the RAW will be crucial in this rivalry before heading to the Show of Shows in New Jersey.
