Backstage creative news on Owens vs Cena, TNA Knockout done with the company?

Many WWE officials believe Cena winning against Owens in MITB isn’t best for business

The highlight of the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view was the Champion vs. Champion battle between John Cena and Kevin Owens, and WWE is surely hoping that they can strike gold twice when the two men square off again at the 2015 edition of Money in the Bank PPV on June 14.

However unlike typical booking of John Cena feuds in WWE, The Wrestling Observer is reporting there are many officials in WWE who feel booking John Cena to get his win back over Kevin Owens is not the way to go for his rematch against Owens at WWE Money in the Bank.Of course, the final decision will be made by Vince McMahon, but as we noted last night, Owens is currently in-line to be pushed as the no.2 heel in the company, behind Seth Rollins.

Johnny Gargano, Jimmy Preston and former TNA Knockout Taeler Hendrix will also be working the WWE tryouts that begin next week in Orlando at the Performance Center. It is also noted that TNA Knockout Havok is also attending the tryout, indicating she might be finished with TNA for the time being.

For those of you who don’t know, WWE tryout is a camp-cum-endurance test in the WWE Performance Center in Orlando, Florida where 30 athletes from all walks of life compete with each other to earn a WWE developmental contract.
