And then it happened! Shane McMahon finally turned heel. We got the swerve we wanted. In a surreal moment, McMahon turned on The Miz and then also beat up his father, turning heel in the process. This has also set up their much awaited WrestleMania match.

Most of McMahon's matches now are like a collection of his greatest hits. Although, it'd be intriguing to see how he plays the heel after so many years. With The Miz, he should tell a great story. But Miz will rightfully get through Shane McMahon and cement himself as a main-event face.

In this article, we present 3 reasons why The Miz will Shane McMahon at WrestleMania 35.

#3 Shane McMahon's recent WrestleMania history

It's often said that if you want to predict the future, look into the past. Events repeat themselves. Well, the saying makes a lot of sense, and enough sense to predict that WWE would have McMahon lose to one of WWE's most loyal and dependable workhorses in history.

Since his return to the WWE in 2016, Shane McMahon has participated in 3 matches at WrestleMania. In 2016, he lost to The Undertaker. Next year, he lost to AJ Styles, before winning a tag match with Daniel Bryan at WrestleMania 34. Here, the thing to consider is that Mr. McMahon booked his son to lose both his singles WrestleMania matches to top WWE stars.

Miz is currently is as big a star in the WWE as any. Hence, the chances of Shane O' Mac going over Miz is minimal, especially since the junior McMahon only wrestles a handful of matches through the year. Shane McMahon doesn't need to win anyway since his fans would be satisfied with him delivering some of his greatest career-moves highlights again through the match.

In comparison, this win will provide more steam to the Miz who has a big role to play as SmackDown's top babyface good forward. Speaking of which...

Yes, The Miz will win and follow up the win with his charisma and talent to become SmackDown's top babyface.

Okay, we know how great and compelling heel The Miz used to be. We know If we ranked Professional-Wrestling's greatest heels in the modern era, Miz deserves a top spot. Not only had he been one of the rare true heels in the business today, but he has been very entertaining while doing it.

We also know that there have been many times in the last decade when fans have wanted The Miz to get some brutal beating. For example, Damien Mizdow probably wouldn't have ever become so popular if he wasn't imitating Miz. Undoubtedly, everyone wanted Mizdow to beat the hell out of The Miz when they separated.

However, there are few people now in the WWE Universe that hate the Miz. He has won over all of us with his talent. WWE knows it too, and hence he has stayed face, and McMahon turned heel. Now, The Miz will have a well-deserved run as a main-event babyface. And, he'll have a great start with a win over Shane McMahon at WrestleMania.

#1 The Miz vs. Daniel Bryan

Mouth-watering!
Mouth-watering!

This rivalry happened last year, and it left a lot to be desired. So much left that we have enough reasons for WWE to revisit the rivalry as soon as WrestleMania 35 becomes a part of history.

And it's not just a wish, but there's a lot of chance that the feud could start sooner than later. As rumors go WWE plan to have Bryan retain the title at WrestleMania, and SmackDown's premier star AJ Styles will possibly get into a feud with Samoa Joe. So, who's the best opponent left for Daniel Bryan? Of course, yours truly, The Miz.

The two stars have a ton of history between them. And, there's nothing much WWE needs to do to sell this rivalry. Just getting the two stars in the ring together is enough to get fans to tune in. Also, the two stars play opposite roles this time, as Miz is our (the ignorants) hero and Bryan's the villain (Planet's hero, irony...).

In brief, for the feud to begin and for The Miz to stay red hot for the same. We predict that he'll go over Shane McMahon at WrestleMania 35.
