What’s the story?

Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet has reported that Matt Hardy’s wife Reby Hardy, her father Señor Benjamin, and her son King Maxel were spotted today inside the WrestleMania Superstore.

The photos do not show a clear picture of Reby and Señor Benjamin’s face, but Pro Wrestling Sheet has confirmed that they were indeed at the store.

In case you didn’t know

Reby, Señor Benjamin, and King Maxel were all a crucial part of Impact Wrestling’s storyline involving Broken Matt Hardy and Jeff Hardy AKA Brother Nero. Their characters were the focus of several TV episodes and feuds until the family left Impact Wrestling after contract disputes.

Since that time, The Hardy Family have continued to work at various independent promotions and have even signed a deal with Ring of Honor.

They were sent cease and desist letters from Impact Wrestling after Impact claimed that the Matt Hardy “Broken” gimmick was a creation of their company and that they had exclusive rights to it.

The heart of the matter

Since the news of The Hardy Family leaving Impact Wrestling broke, there have been rumours circulating that Matt and Jeff Hardy will be returning to WWE at some point after WrestleMania.

The latest rumour indicated that the deal between The Hardys and WWE was practically done and that they could be back on TV very soon.

Jeff Hardy contradicted these rumours in an interview when he claimed that he and his brother have not even been offered WWE deals, but Pro Wrestling Sheet reported that this was nothing more than a smokescreen to mask their impending return.

What’s next?

The Hardy Family is in Florida for the WrestleMania 33 weekend as Matt and Jeff will be defending their ROH Tag Team Championships tomorrow at 6 PM at the ROH Supercard of Honor XI.

Their sighting at the WrestleMania store may just be the family shopping for some wrestling memorabilia and does nothing to confirm nor deny any of the rumours regarding The Hardy Boyz and the WWE.
