#1 Should: Drew McIntyre

Ever since Seth Rollins defeated 'The Beast' Brock Lesnar to become the new Universal Champion at WrestleMania 35, a feud against McIntyre was highly speculated for the Architect of The Shield.

However, WWE chose to have AJ Styles take on Rollins for the Universal Championship at Money in the Bank. Thus it became all but obvious that McIntyre would feature in the men's MITB ladder match.

Well, the odds of McIntyre winning the briefcase on May 19 is very high, probably the highest as compared to the other participants. I mean, WWE has been building him as the top heel of the company since late 2018, and it might not take long before he becomes the new Universal Champion.

Furthermore, given the fact that it is highly rumored that WWE has something big planned for the winner of this year's MITB (given the last two cash-in attempts were unsuccessful), McIntyre winning the briefcase seems totally on the cards as he is speculated to be the next in line to get a shot at the Universal Championship.

Given his impeccable work since the fall of 2018, McIntyre deserves to win the MITB briefcase. And dare I say, expect The Scottish Psychopath to walk out as Mr. MITB on May 19.
