WWE News: There's a new Paul Heyman Guy

Who’s next?

Heyman has apparently been able to find himself a “Paul Heyman Guy”, but he’s not from the WWE. Well, he’s not even a wrestler. It’s actually the chart-busting hip-hop artist Sidney Royel Selby III, popularly known in the hip-hop scene as Desiigner, who’s sung hit singles like “Panda”, which stood at number one on the Billboard Hot 100, and “Tiimmy Turner” which stood on the U.S. Rap charts is the new “Paul Heyman Guy”.

Desiigner also made a mixtape called as “New English” which stood at number eight on the U.S. Rap charts

Desiigner, a native from the Bedford-Stuyvesant neighbourhood and a prodigy of Kanye West’s popular GOOD music label, is associated with Def Jam Recordings. According to the tweet below Heyman and Desiigner were seen eating Korean BBQ while Heyman is in New York City for SummerSlam.

This August, Paul Heyman signed a new deal with the WWE. This new contract requires Heyman to work more dates and also enables him to have a more creative input in his storylines. There has been internal talk going around the company to create new “Paul Heyman Guys” and Heyman who loves pitching ideas has expressed his desire to work with stars from NXT like Shinsuke Nakamura or the current NXT Champion Samoa Joe.

He said that he’s ready to work as Joe’s or Shinsuke’s mouthpiece, whenever they’ll make their main roster debuts.

In the WWE, Heyman has managed several superstars like the former WWE now UFC star CM Punk, former WWE Intercontinental Champion Curtis Axel, former WWE star “The Big Guy” Ryback, “The Beast Incarnate” Brock Lesnar, and “The Swiss Superman” Cesaro. All of these stars have greatly succeeded by having Heyman at their side as he sells matches for his “clients” really well.
