[Watch] Jake Fraser-McGurk turns commentator while watching highlights of his blistering 84 (27) in DC vs MI IPL 2024 clash

Delhi Capitals (DC) opener Jake Fraser-McGurk recently commentated while watching highlights of his knock in the IPL 2024 match against the Mumbai Indians (MI).

Fraser-McGurk has lit up IPL 2024 with a couple of blistering knocks so far. He churned out one such amazing performance on Saturday against five-time IPL champions, with a bludgeoning inning of 84 (27).

Opening the batting, he smacked six sixes and 11 fours and did not spare any MI bowlers, including the mighty Jasprit Bumrah. His scintillating knock provided a great platform, which helped DC in notching up a mammoth first innings score of 257. The Delhi bowlers then managed to restrict MI to 247/9 to help the hosts win the game by nine runs.

IPL's official handle shared a video on Instagram to give fans a glimpse of Jake Fraser-McGurk watching his batting performance against MI and doing commentary. They captioned the post:

"Hope there are many more seasons left in me in this competition!" - Jake Fraser-McGurk

After DC beat MI, Jake Fraser-McGurk received the Player of the Match award for his special knock in the first innings. At the post-match presentation, Jake reflected on his performance and said:

"I was pretty nervous facing Jasprit Bumrah today, but I stayed confident while batting against him and got those two boundaries in. I liked the six, of course! But it was great to get tested by the best."

The youngster added:

"Innings like these are good for my confidence, and also for my teammates who can rely on me batting at the top of the order now. Well, as far as this tournament is concerned, just the number of eyes watching it, makes me feel good about performing well here! Hope there are many more seasons left in me in this competition!"

Jake Fraser-McGurk will be back in action when DC will face KKR in their upcoming IPL 2024 match on Monday (April 29) in Kolkata.
