UFC featherweight Arnold Allen ended the year on a high by winning his second fight of 2022. He extended his winning streak even further and now has 12 straight wins.

The No.4-ranked contender beat Calvin Kattar in a main-event fight in October. He also secured a knockout victory over former lightweight Dan Hooker in a featherweight matchup in March. The win against Kattar prompted fans to demand an interim matchup for Allen as champion Volkanovski is set to test the new lightweight king Islam Makhachev in February.

Arnold Allen outlined his plans for the octagon in the coming year of 2023 in a video uploaded to his YouTube channel. He stated that he was aiming higher than just an interim shot and would rather fight for the undisputed championship:

"It would be nice going into 2023...preparing for an interim spot, but it wasn't going to be. But like I said...that was never the goal. It's annoying. But my goals are bigger than an interim shot, you know. I want to do some bigger things than that and get that title shot outright and you know, obviously cement my name and get it done. So yeah, that's the plan going forward and I can't wait."

The English fighter also aired the idea of launching his own merchandise line since he is an active YouTuber as well. However, he stressed taking the time to produce the highest quality merchandise for his fans rather than throwaway products.

Arnold Allen blasts fans for criticizing Cristiano Ronaldo's latest move to Al-Nassr FC

Portuguese footballing legend Cristiano Ronaldo has finally found a home for himself in the Saudi Pro League with Al-Nassr FC. Just days prior to the FIFA World Cup 2022, Ronaldo had agreed to a mutual contract termination with his boyhood club Manchester United that brought an end to his second stint in red.

'Cr7' was the butt of many jokes and banter from fans about his choice of club, but Arnold Allen came to his defence and tweeted at fans about the massive payday justifying Ronaldo's move.

Allen tweeted:

"Love seeing people call Cristiano Ronaldo greedy for signing for big money at the end of his career... Who wouldn't take £4,85,000 a day [thinking face emoji]"
