Dana White compares his sex life to a wrestling match in stand-up gig

Dana White is widely credited for his pivotal role in institutionalizing MMA and elevating the UFC to unprecedented heights. White, one of the greatest promoters in the history of combat sports, had an unfortunate start to the year when he was caught slapping his wife at a New Year's Eve party in Mexico.

Fans of mixed martial arts throughout the world recognize White as the president of the UFC, but they may not know that he once dabbled in stand-up comedy. Inspired by his longtime friend and UFC color commentator Joe Rogan, White gave stand-up comedy a shot as part of his show Dana White: Lookin' for a Fight.

Dana White had a great opening joke, promising free UFC 200 tickets to everybody in the audience who laughed at his joke. White then shifted the focus to Anne, who he has been married to since 1996. He compared his sexual life to a wrestling match as the audience erupted in laughter:

"Married to thee same women for 20 years… early stoppage is my s*x life… I know a little bit about boring fights, my s*x life is like a fight between two wrestlers, I jump in there, I grind a lot till everybody loses interest.”

What are Dana White's views on professional wrestling?

Dana White, president of the UFC, has attended WWE events in the past. He was present for Ronda Rousey's WrestleMania 34 appearance. Rousey competed in the organization's first female fight at UFC 157. She became the first women's bantamweight champion and held the record for most UFC title defenses by a female until Valentina Shevchenko surpassed her in 2022.

White revealed on Instagram that it was his first live WWE event as an adult. White wrote:

"On my way to my first LIVE @WWE since i was a kid to support the amazing @RondaRousey"

Interestingly, ahead of UFC 190, a fan on Twitter criticized the UFC's pay-per-view costs. He claimed that WWE PPVs are significantly cheaper than the UFC's. White referred to professional wrestling as "fake sh*t," provoking a backlash from WWE fans.

Austin Aries, a professional wrestler, was among the many to criticize White, arguing it is absurd to compare the two sports:

"Comparing pro wrestling to combat sports is silly. It's apples to oranges. Just don't call my apples a fake food. We all pay a real price."
