NASCAR 2023: Where to watch Xfinity 500 at Martinsville Speedway qualifying - Time, TV schedule & live stream

NASCAR Cup Series Xfinity 500
NASCAR Cup Series heads to Martinsville Speedway

The 2023 NASCAR Cup Series season is moving from the intermediate Homestead-Miami Speedway to Martinsville Speedway. This is the shortest track on the schedule for the Xfinity 500.

This weekend will be full of thrilling racing action, as the 0.526-mile track will host the Next Gen cars for the fourth time since it started.

An eventful weekend in Ridgeway, Virginia, saw Christopher Bell clinching his second win of the season to advance to the Championship 4 race at Phoenix Raceway. It will be interesting to see how drivers cope with the challenges posed by the Xfinity 500 in Virginia as it will determine which drivers will be moving onto the Championship 4 race.

A total of 36 NASCAR Cup Series drivers, including eight playoff drivers, will start the race on Sunday, October 29. They will compete for 500 laps in 263 miles of bumper-to-bumper racing.

Ahead of Sunday’s event, there will be a qualifying race on Saturday, October 28, to determine the starting lineup for the ninth playoff race of the season. The driver with the fastest qualifying time will start from the pole.

The rest of the grid for the Xfinity 500 will be determined according to the qualifying times.

Christopher Bell, the driver of the #20 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota, won last year’s Xfinity 500.
