Thiago Silva was the joint highest rated Centre-back in FIFA 15, and the trend continues in PES 2015 as well with the only difference being the rating. Here he is in the 90s as opposed to 87 in FIFA 15. The former Brazilian skipper has been injury prone but when fit, he is undoubtedly the best around. He is currently the captain of French giants Paris Saint-Germain and has forged a partnership at the back with David Luiz, similar to the national set up.

We had classified Yaya Toure among one of the most underrated players in FIFA 15 since he was rated the same as he was in FIFA 14. He frequently broke up the oppositions rhythm with his big physical presence and had the most productive year in terms of goals scored for City as he scored 20 goals in the league. It seems the makers of PES recognised his efforts and have bracketed him among the best players in the game with a rating of 90.

If Yaya Toure fell under the catergory of the most undderrated players in the game, then the Dutchman fell in to the other category. Sidelined due to injuries last season, Van Persie had a pretty good World Cup in Brazil where he led his team to the last 4 stage. His rating in PES 2015 is higher than what EA SPORTS assigned him in FIFA 15 and hence, he is the 8thhighest rated player in the game.
#7 Gareth Bale (Real Madrid)

For some reason or the other, most of these top players have been given a rating higher than what EA SPORTS has given them. In this case, Gareth Bale has been rated 90 in the game, which is three more than what he was assigned in FIFA 15. One of the best players in the world right now, and no wonder he is present among the best in the game as well. Link him up with Ronaldo and conquer Europe again.

Alongside Brazils Thiago Silva, Sergio Ramos was the best CB in FIFA 15, and like mentioned earlier, the same pattern continues in this game as well. Players from Real Madrid have been well rewarded and rightly so. They won the Champions League for the 10thtime in their history and Ramos played a crucial part in the campaign. Apart from defending well, he scored two goals against Bayern in the semifinal and the all important equaliser instoppage time against Atletico Madrid in the finals.

Arjen Robben had a phenomenal year for both club and country. He scored 21 goals across all competitions for Bayern Munich and then put in a stellar performance for the Dutch in the World Cup. The 30 year olds speed rating is extraordinary in the game. So use it to good effect while playing him on the wings.

The best goalkeeper in the world without a doubt is Germanys Manuel Neuer. He won the golden glove award in his teams victorious World Cup campaign and is looked at upon by many as a very unique keeper. He is FIFA 15s highest rated goalkeeper, and that fact hasnt changed in the PES ratings as he is rated 93 in the game.
#3 Zlatan Ibrahimovic (Paris Saint-Germain)

Zlatan just keeps improving with age. The 32 year old is an absolute beast in Pro Evolution Soccer with a rating as high as 93 (rated 90 in FIFA 15). He scored 41 goals across all competitions for Paris Saint-Germain across all competitons last season in just 45 appearances.
#2 Lionel Messi (Barcelona)

This was expected wasnt it? Lionel Messi isnt the best player in PES 2015, unlike FIFA 15 where he was the highest rated player despite being rated lesser by a point (93). His stats were exactly similar to the one Zlatan had last season. In 45 matches, he scored 41 goals for Barcelona and also scored 4 goals in the World Cup where he led Argentina to the World Cup finals.
#1 Cristiano Ronaldo (Real Madrid)

Cristiano Ronaldo is right on top! And rightly so! What a phenomenal year this man had for Real Madrid. He scored 51 goals in 47 matches last season across all competitons including a record tally of 17 goals in his sides victorious Champions League campaign. He was rated a tad below his Barcelona nemesis Lionel Messi in FIFA 15, but in PES 2015, he is rated higher than him.
