WWE Fast Lane 2015 : 3 possible endings for Bad News Barrett vs. Dean Ambrose

The Fast Lane pay-per-view saw a much needed addition to its match card on Monday Night when Dean Ambrose forced Bad News Barrett into a championship bout. Though the contract signing ceremony wasn’t exactly like the ones fans are used to seeing, as things stand now, the match is official.A portion of the fans are not happy about Ambrose being relegated into the midcard championship scene but on the bigger picture, he could raise the stock of Intercontinental title. With just days away from the pay-per-view, the next question in everyone’s mind will be about the climax of the match. So here is a look at the possible ways in which WWE could book the ending.

#3 Restarting Feud of the year

Randy Orton is nowhere to be seen after he went missing before Survivor Series. Fans were expecting to see an Orton – Rollins feud for WrestleMania, but now that the company has delayed his return to such an extent, the safe way would be to let him come back after the PPV.

This calls for a new storyline for Rollins. There are a number of possibilities out there but what the fans want is conclusion of the Shield angle. The angle between Rollins and Ambrose ended without a proper climax thanks to Bray Wyatt and WrestleMania will be a perfect stage to wrap it up.

Rollins could come out and cost Ambrose his match at Fast Lane to restart the feud. These two could then work all the way to WrestleMania and steal the show like they usually do.

#2 Introduction of the third wheel

Another superstar who is in desperate need of an angle at the moment is Dolph Ziggler. To get the record straight, it was Ziggler who dropped the championship to Bad News Barrett and it would only be fitting to giving him another proper shot.

A three way battle between Ziggler, Ambrose and Barrett will evoke no complaints whatsoever and WWE should kick start the same at Fast Lane. Ziggler could interfere in the match demanding his rematch for the title.

The playing field will get broadened with the addition of the Show off. Also, it will make the route to WrestleMania easier for WWE as they could book a triple threat for the Intercontinental championship.

#1 The usual dose of madness from Ambrose

Ambrose is one of those rare superstars in the roster who blurs the line between his real life character and wrestling gimmick. Being a lunatic fringe, Ambrose showcases some unique traits. One among that is his urge to punish his opponent without thinking about getting disqualified.

He has lost a lot of matches due to this habit and if WWE wants to run the Barrett – Ambrose all the way to WrestleMania, a disqualification ending would be apt at Fast Lane.

Ambrose losing on basis of rules will force the company to book a no rules match at Mania. It will be a dream brawl fest between two superstars and the angle will benefit from the lengthy buildup as well.
