I never thought that I’ll come out of this PPV being excited about the next night on Raw. The build up was underwhelming but in the end, what a Pay Per View! It featured some of the best matches and some memorable moments. We had some new champions, an awesome return and a brawl fest. Here are the five promising developments from this stellar PPV.

#1 A Crazy Night

It’s a bit of a pain to see Rollins not wrestle. Reigns had an emergency surgery and that left Rollins with no challenger. He issued an open challenge and it was anybody’s guess that Dean Ambrose will show up and so he did in the most awesome series of sequences ever.

Maybe the surgery on Reigns was kayfabe because we already saw the former Shield brothers fight on Raw. Maybe this was just the stage for Ambrose to make a spectacular return and he passed that test with roaring success.

The most entertaining feud of the year continues. . .

#2 Starry Dust

Do you think the slide name is wierd? Well, so are the new tag team Champions.

The bizarre brothers won following a very good match and became the tag champs for the second time. This only makes the tag team picture more exciting. While the Usos were spectacular to watch, Stardust and Goldust have very interesting gimmicks and they can wrestle a technical match with gusto as well. This makes them quite a bit of a complete package.

While I look forward to them defending their titles more, I ma more excited about their promos getting more air time, I hope.

#3 Sheamus Vs Cesaro

WOW. Just. Wow.

This was arguably the best match of the PPV and who could have expected that coming from the United States title Picture.

Who?

Sheamus and Cesaro’s performances were breathtaking. It came out of a bout that was never really built up to be much. For the past few weeks they were just seen in tag matches. But these two just went at each other with no care in the world.

It was very well wrestled. Masterfully executed.

#4 The IC Title Scene

Yes, the Miz won the IC title again in an entertaining match which the announcers completely ignored.

It continues this feud and it makes the IC title picture look more relevant and get more air time than it has in the past few years. Dolph Ziggler becoming the new champion really picked up some steam and the involvement of Damien Sandow as teh hilarious duplicate of the Miz hit bullseye as well.

Also, this Miz gimmick is quite entertaining as well.

I’ve used the word ‘entertaining’ on this slideshow quite a lot. That was what the PPV was

#5 Force To Be Reckoned with

Sure, the match ended with a whimper.

But Lesnar is still the champ and Cena made one hell of a challenger. This was like their extreme Rules match in bits. It was painful to watch but unlike Extreme Rules, where Cena got the most harsh end of the deal for most of the match, here he actually made quite a statement. he was giving what he was getting and that made me think that Cena might just win. But Lesnar is still the champ.

The WWE might want Reigns to beat the force that is Lesnar, but I want Daniel Bryan to do the deed, David Vs Goliath style.
