WWE RAW 14th July, 2014- 5 Promising Developments

It was a night filled withpromises, but ended up being mostly disappointing. And in that pile of disappointment finding anything promising isless than stellar move. This episode of raw could have been better. Except a few moments, nothing totally stands out.Anyway, here are the five promising developments that the WWE should capitalize upon.

#1 Sting

There was something spooky about Sting’s tweet which simply said, “07.14.14” last week.

WWE announced that Sting will be a pre-order bonus character for the WWE 2K15 video game. So not only did his cryptic tweet had the big reveal, it also turned out to be quite historic as this may be the first time ever that Sting has allowed his iconic character voluntarily appear in the WWE.

Does this mean that he’ll appear on Raw someday? Maybe. Maybe Not.

#2 Heel Attack

WWE don’t have many effective heels at the moment except the Authority. Raw kicked off by countering that argument. The assault of Ambrose backstage by Rollins, Orton and Kane was one of the most intense moments of the show that brought the heels into a new light.

Ambrose had his own moments but this was his week to fall and the heels made sure that this happened.

#3 Hollywood Miz

Talking about heels, The Miz is back to being one and that is what he should always be. His new Hollywood persona is adding up the boos and his upset victory over Sheamus means that his career still has some life left in it.

Though this still feels like a move to hype up the Battle Royal, the Miz has the ability to get people to easily boo him, even the most hardcore crowd. And isn’t WWE mostly about getting the desired reactions?

#4 The Ravishing One

Lana is getting some stellar heat from the audience. All I could remember from this instant is Sunny HoF speech where she mentioned how people backstage were happy with the kind of heat she was accumulating.

Lana is close to becoming such a heel. It might be because she’s a Russian in a feud formed playing into the patriotic domain but she is someone to watch out for in the coming weeks.

#5 Is Lesnar Plan C?

Paul Heyman was conspicuous by his absence in Cesaro’s match. He was nowhere to be seen until towards the end of the show. Not the actual end but before the main event and there was a mention of a Plan B and a certain Plan C.

Is this an indication for a Lesnar return? I’m pretty sure it is.
