TNA Impact’s deal with Spike TV close to an end

Reporter Jeremy Botter has tweeted that he was informed by Spike TV officials that they will be getting out of the wrestling business and will no longer be airing TNA Impact. Botter, who was at Bellator’s MMA event, was told the same that the network won’t be airing TNA by the Spike TV people, who also own Bellator.

TNA had been given an extension to their contract by Spike, as they explored new options for a TV deal. Their earlier deal was scheduled to expire in September, and so were given the extension by Spike, which was supposed run through till the end of December.

However, the future shows are in doubt, as Spike have pre-poned the 26/11 episode, and next Wednesday’s show is the last broadcast TNA have taped. Spike has not released its schedule for December yet.
