WWE Survivor Series 2018: 4 Potential finishes for Seth Rollins vs Shinsuke Nakamura

There are a number of combustible elements in this match

Seth Rollins battles Shinsuke Nakamura on Sunday night at Survivor Series in another Raw vs SmackDown match, as both man battle it out to prove that they are the best in their mid-card bout. Rollins holds the Intercontinental Championship whilst Nakamura is the United States Champion and both men desperately want to take home the win for their brand.

Rollins has his own issues on Monday Night Raw right now given the fact that he is looking over his shoulder for Dean Ambrose, who blames him for weakening him over the past few months and bringing him back to fight his battles.

Nakamura hasn't been part of the most recent WWE pay-per-views and seems to have been pushed out of favor on SmackDown Live, but this is still one of the biggest fantasy matches on the card for tomorrow night and there are a number of options that WWE's creative has when it comes to the finish of their bout.

#4 Seth Rollins takes the win for Raw

Rollins needs this win much more than Nakamura

Seth Rollins knows all about fighting for brand dominance since he teamed with Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns last year at Survivor Series in a winning effort against The New Day. The former World Champion has proved a number of times that he is one of the best wrestlers in the world but he has never stepped in the ring with Nakamura throughout the course of his career, which means that this could be a huge test for The Architect.

Despite this, Rollins is a fantastic wrestler and could easily be one of the most reliable stars for Raw when it comes to picking up wins for their brand tomorrow night. Of the two, Rollins perhaps has more enemies than Nakamura, which could work to one of the men's favour tomorrow night.

#3 Shinsuke Nakamura takes the clean win for SmackDown Live

Shinsuke Nakamura was seen as one of the biggest acquisitions for WWE when he was signed to NXT a few years ago and later went on to become NXT Champion. Earlier this year the Japanese star was unable to become WWE Champion, so this could be The Artist's chance to prove that he is an asset to SmackDown Live if he is able to overcome the threat of one of WWE's biggest stars.

Betting odds suggest that Nakamura is the most likely to come out on top tomorrow night, which means that right now this is the most likely scenario but at the same time, Nakamura hasn't become known for picking up clean wins over the past few months, since the United States Champion has become a huge fan of low blows.

#2 Rollins wins via disqualification

Nakamura has quite the reputation for delivering low blows

Nakamura's change of attitude over the past few months may have handed him the United States Championship but he has also gained himself quite the reputation when it comes to the end of many of his matches. The most predictable ending to this bout right now is for Nakamura to be outwrestled by the former World Champion before he becomes frustrated and reacts by low blowing Rollins, like he has so many times before, but this time this isn't just a match because SmackDown's hopes of brand dominance ride on Nakamura's decisions in this match.

As the face in this hotly anticipated matchup, it's highly unlikely that Rollins will get himself disqualified, but since it's something that Nakamura has now become known for, it's likely that this could be the abrupt ending to their bout tomorrow night.

#1 Dean Ambrose makes his presence known

Dean Ambrose is expected to appear at Survivor Series

Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins are currently in the middle of a feud on Monday Night Raw and even though the success of Raw rides on Rollins winning his match on Sunday night, Ambrose isn't someone who cares about the brand he wrestles on and could be a deciding factor in who wins and loses this match.

Ambrose hasn't been booked on the card for tomorrow's show for a reason since he's a wild card and WWE knows that there is no way to tame him when he decides that he has a target. The former World Champion has made it clear that Seth Rollins is the man that he is going after and even though The Architect is focused on Nakamura as part of tomorrow's show, he will definitely be looking over his shoulder for his former teammate.
