5 Things you need to know before tonight's Raw (November 26th, 2018)

In just a matter of hours, the men and women of Monday Night Raw will gather to put on another 3-hour show.

Plenty happened last week, most notably the injury of Braun Strowman, who had been promised a shot at Baron Corbin after dominating, and co-existing with his teammates at Survivor Series earlier this month.

But now, with Survivor Series in the past, the Superstars now look forward to TLC, the final pay per view of 2018.

And with this being the final pay per view, it won't be long before the Royal Rumble, and for the road to WrestleMania 35 to get underway.

But before any of that, the Monday Night RAW roster need to get through tonight, which is shaping up to be a truly can't-miss episode of WWE TV.

Here are 5 things you definitely need to know before tonight's episode of WWE Monday Night Raw.

#5 The Intercontinental Open Challenge

Rollins will defend the gold tonight.

After regaining the Intercontinental Championship from Dolph Ziggler at Summerslam, it's safe to say that Seth Rollins has been a fighting champion.

Taking on all-comers, The Kingslayer has defended his title across the world and even bested US Champion Shinsuke Nakamura in non-title action earlier this month.

Tonight though, Rollins will put the coveted White-strapped gold on the line against a mystery opponent in an open challenge.

This title match comes just weeks before the Architect is scheduled to face former friend Dean Ambrose at TLC for the gold.

The two have been at each other's throats in recent weeks, ever since Ambrose turned on his Shield-brother, mere hours after Roman Reigns forfeited the Universal Championship.

But Rollins will have to put this all behind him tonight, though you can be sure that somewhere, Ambrose will be watching closely.

#4 The Living Truth Vs. The Almighty

Lashley returned to WWE attacking Elias.

It's hard to argue that any other superstars have seized the day to make 2018 their year, more than Elias and Bobby Lashley.

The singer-songwriter has become a huge star on Monday Nights, much larger than his role in NXT, with Elias recently embracing the support of the WWE Universe.

Lashley, on the other hand, returned to a hero's welcome on the Raw after WrestleMania 34 but has since turned his back on the fans, in an impressive double-turn where he took out former Universal Champion Kevin Owens.

But tonight, both Lashley and Elias will collide, though the Almighty will no doubt be flanked by his hypeman Lio Rush, who has made the difference in the past.

Hopefully, Rush will stay out of things, and Lashley and Elias will be able to see who is the better man.

#3 What's next for The Constable?

Balor and Corbin battled at Summerslam.

Braun Strowman may have the worst luck in the world.

After finally getting a one-on-one shot at Crown Jewel against Brock Lesnar, Strowman came up short thanks to the interference of the Constable Baron Corbin.

After weeks of trying to get his hands on the Acting Raw GM, Strowman was finally promised a match at TLC, but his recent injury means that all of this may have gone up in smoke.

But for the Constable, things aren't much better. Whilst he may have escaped the Monster Among Men, tonight he will face Finn Balor, a foe he's very familiar with.

Corbin and Balor feuded over the summer, with the Irish Superstar coming out on top, though this didn't exactly mean he moved up the card.

Balor even used the demon at Summerslam 2018 against the Constable, a spooky fact that Corbin hasn't forgotten.

#2 What is next for the Rowdy One?

Rousey hopes to make Jax tap at TLC.
Rousey hopes to make Jax tap at TLC.

Ever since she made her in-ring debut at WrestleMania 34, there has been no-one able to stop Raw Women's Champion 'Rowdy' Ronda Rousey.

Winning the title at Summerslam from Alexa Bliss, Rousey has continued to dominate, defeating the goddess twice on pay per view, as well as Nikki Bella at WWE Evolution.

But at TLC, Rousey will face her greatest challenge, when she faces Nia Jax, who has been on a roll since breaking the face of SmackDown Women's Champion Becky Lynch.

As if the #FaceBreaker wasn't dangerous enough already, Nia has recently formed an alliance with Tamina Snuka, an allegiance that has only made Nia more of a threat to Rousey's title.

Before we get to TLC though, Rousey needs to survive tonight, though I'm pretty sure that the Hot Rod will have something to see tonight on Raw.

#1 Tag Team Titles on the line

Gable and Roode picked up the win last week.
Gable and Roode picked up the win last week.

As if having just one title match on tonight's Raw isn't enough, tonight we have two!

Tonight on RAW, the Tag Team Champions AOP will defend their gold against Chad Gable and Bobby Roode in what is sure to be an exciting match.

Whilst AOP will literally tower over their opponents, don't count Roode and Gable out just yet, as the pair were able to score the victory last week, and are hoping lightning will strike twice.

Of course, though, AOP will be accompanied by 205 Live GM Drake Maverick, who hopefully will be able to keep his pants dries this week.

Perhaps some adult diapers should be on Maverick's Christmas list this year, as his pant-wetting incident at Survivor Series has been a source of much laughter amongst the WWE locker room, especially for Roode and Gable.
