- As seen on last night’s RAW, the main event for July’s Battleground PPV is set, and will see Brock Lesnar take on Seth Rollins for WWE World Heavyweight Championship. The match was chosen by The Authority and Triple H told Rollins, “The pressure is on!” after which Lesnar’s music hit as he along with his advocate Paul Heyman returned to TV.
Lesnar entered the ring and stared at Rollins who was clearly afraid to look into the eyes of the former WWE World Heavyweight champion. Rollins backed off and left the ring as RAW went off the air. Are they building a slow face turn for Rollins?
- United States champion John Cena was kept off RAW to sell the attack from Kevin Owens following their Money In The Bank PPV. Michael Cole said that Cena was suffering from back spasms, contusions and bruising due to the attack.
