Coachman to broadcast WWE SummerSlam with ESPN this year

It looks like former WWE announcer Jonathan Coachman's viral campaign to bring his current employer ESPN to SummerSlam in Brooklyn was a success. Coachman said Saturday night on his verified Twitter account that ESPN's SportsCenter would be at Aug. 23's SummerSlam at the Barclays Center.

Coach tweeted earlier in the evening that he would be at SummerSlam. On June 30 Coachman tweeted, '"SportsCenter On The Road at Summerslam." “How does that sound. Show my bosses the power of @wwe fans by retweeting as many times as possible". That tweet was retweeted more than 3,000 times. Here is what he tweeted:

Meanwhile United States Champion John Cena looks fired up on the prospect of facing WWE World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins at WWE SummerSlam pay-per-view, in a winner takes all match. It all started in the Raw main event on the July 27 episode, when Rollins and Cena were competing for the U.S. Championship. Shortly after the fight began, Rollins kneed Cena in the face, and Cena then spun backwards slammed into the ropes and fell to the mat.

Later Cena was diagnosed with a fractured nose. But it seems a fractured nose would have no bearing on Cena as he returned and looks pumped up for the match. John Cena tweeted the following after RAW about a potential 16th world title reign kicking off at Sunday’s SummerSlam pay-per-view:

Seems New Day have found a new fan in TNA World Heavyweight Champion Ethan Carter III. The TNA star took to Twitter to express his admiration for the stable and Xavier Woods replied back promising him to the defeat the Prime Time Players at Summerslam. They had the following exchange on Twitter:
